New beginning with a very special person

On the other side ...

So life got complicated ... lots of "diversions" of 'normal' took place but it seems after some difficult times, emotionally and physically, life is continuing ... and honestly not to jinks it, it is going rather well ...

Got new house, people helping too :-) So, I survived. Dare I say happy again?
On one of those pictures, there is very new and special person ... you probably noticed if you know me ... 

So we are making the kitchen bigger ... but this kitchen represents much more than just a kitchen and another 'project' ... it is a new beginning.

Difficult ...

Difficult time ahead, must really face it, unfortunately ... I think I just keep on hope but even though I still won't give up completely, I am starting to think more about my life in the long term ... Blogs, Facebook, does anyone reads it? But most importantly should anyone read it? Why am I putting all this on here, why is there Facebook and fortunately I am not addicted to Facebook but yet the idea of it not being there at all scares me ...

So many questions, unknown ... and no excitement really as seems something beautiful in the most part will end ... life will go on and new social arrangements will be made as life must go on, and it most likely won't be as bad as I imagine, may even be excited in parts ... but yet ... I guess I am just weird ... like my youngest daughter "I have a problem" ... She told me that when her sister was sick, actually just after routine operation in the hospital ... she 'can't deal with it' ... she can't be around it, her little heart is devastated just by her sister not being completely herself ...

I look at the old house torn to the ground and it hurts me ... I think so many memories in that house, why not remodel, just because is cheaper to build a new one? How can I learn to deal with bigger issues, why can't I?

Oh well, I just actually hope nobody reads this but writing it helps a bit ...

What would this cost in RV? Let’s say 2 weeks trip

2 weeks - $120/night for first week, $128/night for following week

Typical fees for mileage are 32¢ per mile travel

fuel economy is about 10 miles per gallon

The above trip is 7,174 miles

12 nights = 800 + 850 = $1660 (cost of rental per day)

7,174 x $.32 = $2,295.68 (fees for mile travel)

Gasoline = 7,174 / 10 717.4 x COST of gas = 717.4 x $3.25 = $2,331.55

Cost (at minimum) would be 1,660 + 2,295 + 2,332 =~ $6,350

So6,350 dollars to make this trip in RV for 2 weeks. (This includes driving nonstop sometimes in 2 weeks for 4 days 22 hours, so 5 days)

Not worth it I would say … better take airplane and rent cars …

My old house in Poland

There is "Polish Facebook" in Poland, it is called nasza-klasa.pl (which is literally our class, so more like classmates equivelent in USA, but it is increasingly trying to make itself as 'place for meetings of friends' so it wants to really be Facebook)

In any case, someone took a picture there and post it.
On the background you can see my old house where I grew up.

The house is the one of the left of the one that has light greenish or yellowish color of the top floor.

I lived there roughly from 1977 to 1993.

Kitchen officially done

While small little things remind, overall 99% of the kitchen is done. I made a book about it













































It was a surprise for my wife. (She said there are a few small mistakes but nothing to worry too much about ... she probably was just trying to be nice so just focus on pictures)
